Riverbook has no accounts, sign-ups or forms, and it does not ask for your name or email address.

Cookies and tracking

Riverbook sets no cookies, runs no analytics and shows no adverts. Fonts and the map are served from Riverbook itself, so loading a page doesn’t contact any other company.

Server logs

Riverbook’s own code doesn’t record visitors’ IP addresses. The site is hosted on Fly.io, whose systems handle each request and may keep technical logs, including IP addresses, for running and securing the service.

Your location

The “Near me” button asks your browser for your location to sort gauges by distance. That happens on your device. Your location isn’t sent to Riverbook or stored.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data a company holds about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Riverbook itself holds no personal data about visitors.

Changes

If Riverbook adds email alerts or anything else that handles personal data, this page will change first.
